MyCNL now with Google Earth Functionality.
By Brad | June 2, 2008
First we must say thanks to the Google Development team for continuing to push the envelope with the Google Maps API. Google just announced today that the Google Maps API now has support for Google Earth overlays (Read the full article here). We have already integrated the Google Earth overlay on the site with the Facebook Application update soon to follow. In order to utilize the latest functionality, users will need to download a plug-in for their browser. For those that want to stay ahead of the curve, you can download the plug-in here, although it’s not necessary as users will be prompted with a link to download the plug-in when they try to view the map if they haven’t done so already.

Facebook Developer’s Garage Denver-Boulder
By Brad | March 28, 2008
Much thanks to the guys over at Techstars for providing the space for the first Denver - Boulder Facebook Developer’s Garage. It was an interesting night filled with a lot of cool demos from some great local Facebook developers.
My personal favorite was the presentation from the guys over at Social Media. Their presentation was more than just the simple “hey this is what we do”. They took the time to put together some really valuable data and graphs that I for one found to be extremely useful.
Also, much thanks to Dave Morin, Senior Platform Manager at Facebook, for Skyping in via video. He really took the time to answer a lot of questions, and he gave us a lot of great info to work with.
If you’re interested in joining in on the next garage session, head on over to the Denver-Boulder Facebook Developers group at http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=10875767322. we hope to see you there.

Watch Your Favorite Movies and TV Shows
By Brad | March 19, 2008
If you haven’t heard of www.hulu.com yet, go there now. They have a lot of cool stuff, and I’m still blown away by the fact that the videos are free to watch whenever I want! The only drawback is the commercials, but who cares? I’ll sacrifice a few minutes of my time if that means I don’t have to open my wallet.
Oh, and just to get things going, here’s a little showcase of their functionality:
